Fitger's 5K

Thank you to all of our participants in the 2013 Fitger's 5K! We appreciate your support of the Young Athletes Foundation, and hope to see you in 2014!

Registration for the 2014 Fitger's 5K will open in the fall.

There’s no better time to start spring training than at the 25th annual Fitger’s 5K Run & Walk. The 3.1-mile race begins at 9 a.m. at Fitger’s (600 E. Superior St.) in downtown Duluth. An awards ceremony follows the race at 10:30 a.m.

The racecourse travels through downtown Duluth on Superior Street into Canal Park and finishes back at Fitger’s.

All finishers receive a T-shirt, and trophies will be awarded to the top competitors in each age category for both the run and walk.

Important: Absolutely no early starters are allowed on the racecourse. Individuals in violation of this rule will be disqualified and asked to leave the course. No automobiles, bicycles, baby joggers, roller skis, inline skates, handcycles, hand-cranked wheelchairs, pets or unofficial participants are allowed on the racecourse.

 

Headphones: For the safety of all participants, the use of headphones and other similar devices will not be allowed during the Fitger's 5K Run & Walk.
