Start Time: 5:30 - kids races; 6:15 p.m.- 2-mile walk; 6:30 p.m. - 5-mile run.
Location: At the end of Park Point in Duluth, MN

This summer event offers something for the whole family to enjoy! The Park Point 5-Miler starts near the Park Point Pavillion in Duluth and participants run down Minnesota Avenue before finishing back near the Pavillion. A two-mile walk and half- mile races for children accompany the five-mile run.

All finishers in the 5-mile run and 2-mile walk receive a T-shirt, and trophies are awarded to the top finishers in thirteen age divisions for the run and walk. In addition, participation ribbons are given to all children in the youth races.

Race day registration and race number pick-up is from 3:30-6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17 at the Park Point Pavilion. Please call Grandma's Marathon headquarters at 727-0947 if you have questions.

Entry Fee:

Pre-registration - $20 prior to July 17
Race day registration - $25

All proceeds from the Park Point 5-Miler benefit the Young Athletes Foundation.


Important: Absolutely no early starters are allowed on the racecourse. Individuals in violation of this rule will be disqualified and asked to leave the course. No automobiles, bicycles, baby joggers, roller skis, inline skates, handcycles, hand-cranked wheelchairs, pets or unofficial participants are allowed on the racecourse.

Headphones: For the safety of all participants, the use of headphones and other similar devices will not be allowed during the Park Point 5-Miler.
